Size 7 16” circular & dbl pt ndls (or size
for gauge)
Gauge: 5 sts. = 1” in st.st.
On
circular ndls. cast on 86 stitches. Place marker and
join into a round being careful not to twist work
around needle. Work in K1, P1 rib for 3/4”.
Change to st. st. and inc. 4 sts. in the 1st rnd.
Work even until hat measures 6” from beg.
Dec as follows, switching to dpns. as necessary:
Row 1: *K7, k2tog, rep from * to end of row Row 2:
Knit
Row 3: *K6, k2tog, rep from * to end of row Row 4:
Knit
Row 5: *K5, k2tog, rep from * to end of row Row 6:
Knit
Cont. this pattern until you have 10 sts.
Cut yarn and pull through rem sts. Weave ends and
wear it!
